As a twelve-year-old boy growing up in Alexandria, Virginia, I loved spending my free time in the great Washington D.C. museums. I can remember entering the National Gallery and being inspired by the paintings of Raphael, Picasso and Constable. I studied art at San Jose State University and had an extensive career teaching in secondary education and junior college.
1967- A one person museum show at the Triton Museum, San Jose
1967- National Exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco
1968-A two show location of large abstracts at Washington State University Art Gallery and Idaho State University Art Gallery
1970-One person show Stanford University International Center
1976-Two paintings collected by San Jose Art Museum and are part of the permanent collection
1976-commissioned and sold five large abstract paintings
five feet to seven feet at Amdahl Corporation
1980-2025- continuing to create abstract art and have paintings collected by Triton and Desait Museums
